Posted by Clarke M on 03 April 2006 06:11 PM
If you are receiving the error 550 - Relaying Denied when trying to send email using Outlook 2000, you will need to configure your email client to the correct outgoing mail server.

Please open Outlook Express then click on Tools from the menu bar, then Accounts.

Click on the Mail tab and highlight your account.

Click Properties with the account highlighed.

Click on the Servers Tab.

Change your Outgoing Mail (SMTP) server to:

Click OK, then click on Close.

This will correct the outgoing mail server. If you have any messages in our Outbox, they will need to be deleted and re-created.
